Auction Buying

AUCTIONS

How can I buy homes at the court house steps or through an auction?
TYPICAL AUCTIONS (SUCH AS SEEN-ON-TV, OR AT PUBLIC VENUES)

Typical auctions require pre-registration, and often charge buyers premiums.  Research/Inspections on properties must be obtained beforehand and many times the property is purchases “sight unseen” and “as-is”.  Sometimes financing may be available on-site – but most times cash by certified funds or wire is required.

TRUSTEE SALE AUCTIONS OR “AT THE COURT HOUSE STEPS”

Pre-registration is typically required, also a deposit made out to the county treasurer is needed prior to bidding of $10,000.  Bids need to paid for within 48 hours of a successful bid, and you will be given a deed to the property.  You will have needed to complete any due diligence prior to the sale – as the sale is not rescindable.
